A Japanese fisherman with murder in his heart decided to play tricks with bait and hooks.

That's what fishermen do.

They pretend to be friendly right before they kill you.

This moment has always existed and always will exist - this exact instant when steel meets flesh.

The harpoon went in and out, in and out. Simple as that.

The sea turned red, which is what seas do when you fill them with blood.

Nothing poetic about it.

She died slowly, because that's how harpooned things usually die.

Nobody writes songs about moments like these.

If you ever meet a fisherman offering you bait, remember this story.

Or don't.

It won't change what happened here.

The universe keeps spinning either way.

Poor little fishy.
