It's not easy to choose the music that best represents cardinal sin.

 

In Leo, the sounds are dark, seductive and abusive. The evocative nature of the musicians in this compilation exploit the subversive notes of rape, promiscuity, infidelity, murder, greed and violence. KingSinger stories do not deny the existence of sin. My stories embrace the idea in order to allow my characters to arrive towards redemption - especially in the tracks meant to alleviate conditions of mental disorder in, Kid A and Arthur's Birds. The deepest shades of Leo reveal betrayal at its finest and ugliest in the glory of the sublime.​

While I've emerged from an animation background, I'm aware that explicit content isn't right for animated films. Children have become increasingly aware of drug and sexual abuse as a result of the Information Age. Hip hop is an undeniable outlet for suffering. As of now, the internet is the only place where a jukebox musical story like Leo can safely exist.

The music compilation is almost begging to be made into a live action film or tv drama series. During my former years, I've enjoyed films like Sin City, 300, A Clockwork Orange, The Shining, The Watchmen, Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul and others in a similar genre. As an adult, the influence of these films are hard to shake off.
