My assignment was to create a diverse cast of crowds that reflect the current attitudes regarding gender, race, age and purpose. I played with graphic shapes and proportions to describe their costume and hair. We wanted to keep it light and playful. Being a fantasy world starring krakens and mermaids, we wanted the shapes to feel cartoony. Always fun to animate and never taking ourselves too seriously.
